Article Overview
A screw compressor is a rotary positive-displacement compressor that uses two intermeshing screw rotors to compress air continuously. Compared with conventional reciprocating compressors, screw compressors are widely used where industries require a steady compressed-air supply, continuous operation, compact installation, and reliable performance.
Sarv Jagat screw compressors are available in fixed-speed and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD/VSD) configurations, with different motor capacities, pressure ratings, and Free Air Delivery (FAD) options to suit industrial requirements.
Typical applications include manufacturing plants, textile industries, automotive workshops, CNC and VMC machines, packaging, pharmaceuticals, food processing, engineering, fabrication, printing, plastics, and general industrial production.
A properly selected screw compressor should be matched to the actual air demand, working pressure, duty cycle, operating environment, and required air quality. Compressor sizing based only on motor HP can result in inefficient operation or inadequate air supply.
Sarv Jagat also provides complete compressed-air solutions including refrigerated air dryers, air receiver tanks, filters, moisture separators, automatic drain systems, and other air-treatment equipment, allowing industries to develop an integrated compressed-air system.
